Wajid Khan’s mother tests COVID-19 positive, was taking care of her son at hospital: Report

Mumbai: A day after musician-singer Wajid Khan of duo Sajid-Wajid was laid to rest at Versova cemetery, a report on Tuesday said that his mother has been tested positive for coronavirus.
"He died of a cardiac arrest," Wajid's brother Sajid had said on Monday while confirming that his brother had tested positive for COVID-19. Now, a report said that the music composers’ mother, Razina, has also tested positive for the dreaded virus.

The report has suggested that Razina, who was at Surana Sethia hospital to take care of his ailing son, had contracted COVID-19 before the late musician was found to be infected with the virus. She is undergoing treatment at the same hospital in Mumbai.
As per an ABP News report, Razina’s health condition is better now. “She stayed in Surana Sethia hospital to take care of her ailing son. However, she contracted COVID-19 after she came in contact with other coronavirus patients at the hospital,” the report said.
